How does Sumac generate recipes?
Sumac uses AI to create original recipes based on your taste profile, dietary needs, and preferences. Every recipe is validated for allergen safety and nutritional accuracy before it reaches you.
Is my dietary and allergy information safe?
Yes. Your allergy data is stored securely and used exclusively for recipe generation and safety validation. We never share it with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my Sumac Pro subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings. If you subscribed through the App Store, manage it in your Apple ID settings. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Email us at support@getsumac.com and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
What AI models does Sumac use?
Sumac uses Anthropic's Claude models for recipe generation and adaptation. Your personal identifiers are never sent to the AI — only your preferences and recipe context.
